We first purchased coffee from Patricia Coelho as a cover lot earlier in the year – our Brazil lots from Pocos de Caldas and Fazenda Recreo ran late, and we needed some cover. Right in the middle of a record high market, it was an expensive buy – but the peaberry lot from Patricia stood out for its quality matching the price. When Bossa coffee got in touch with some samples from Patricia’s first ever microlots – we knew we’d found a winter Espresso.
All the core flavours of Brazil, but we find heaps of extra character and complexity from the value add processing.
