Altieri Estate is a family led project in Boquete founded over twenty years ago by Eugene “Don Gene” Altieri. Today the farms are guided by his children Anna Lynn and Francisco, together with farm manager Roger Pitti. Gesha is grown exclusively at Callejón Seco using seed stock sourced from Hacienda La Esmeralda. Each tablon is named after Eugene’s grandchildren, with the Dilgo tablon planted in 2007.
GNASD stands for Geisha Natural Anaerobic Slow Dried, a process designed to build depth while preserving elegance and clarity. This lot shows a creamy, tactile texture with an expressive yet controlled fermentation. Sweet tropical fruit leads with mango and caramelized pineapple, followed by candied peach and a jammy sweetness. As the cup cools, violet and white florals emerge, finishing clean with white grape and a soft floral lift.
Altieri’s commitment to precision farming and thoughtful processing has earned them repeated recognition at Best of Panama. This Dilgo lot is a refined yet bold expression of natural Gesha, perfectly fitting the Bloody Ripper collection.
